in Vienna
Hey boys and girls
Am in Vienna! Woohoo! Getting ready for 5 days of a conference called Solution 2010 where delegates will challenge themselves to think about globalisation, poverty and their actions towards accomplishing AIESEC 2010 in Vienna. Here's to a challenging experience, not only AIESEC wise, but on the personal interest level. I hope to clear my head with some of these discussions about the type of Masters program that I want to enroll into.
To self reflection, challenges, meeting friends and exploring the world. Accomplishing my year's personal vision in many ways! What have you done to achieve yours? Heck, when was the last time you looked at yours? Try it, it will give new purpose to what you do in daily activities and energize you to grab those opportuinties you think are too hard to attain.
Missing you all in @MACE! Just to let you know, the 19 hour bus ride here wasn't so bad!!
Snowing in Skopje
I finally see snow! During my entire Christmas holiday I didn't see snow, and now it is snowing in SK! Give me a couple more days and I won't like it again. :S Haha. What is sad, it is WARMER in CALGARY, Canada than it is here in SK. Someone see something wrong with that?!
Fishie and Ripche are back in the flat! After their vacation of being taken care by Jasna (thanks for that sweets!), they are back home. What?! You don't know who Fishie and Ripche are?! Shame on you. They are the MC Fish!! (note: Ripche means fishie in Macedonian. Yes, we are a creative MC team. Maybe a witty one tho. ;) )
Skating in the City
Yesterday, the MC and LC Skopje went to the skating rink . Loads of fun as people fell on their bums. Haha. The worst of them all .... me. Yes, the Canadian can't skate. I am a disgrace to my nation, I realize this. :( Oh well. I blame the Filipino in me :) we don't do ice unless it's in our halo-halo drink. The weather was perfect for the outdoor skating. Some people were learning and others just zoomed past (freaking the crap out of us starters). Thanks for a great time at the rink Skopje!
Back to work
I'm back and ready to go!
After a wonderful month's holiday in the UK, Canada and the US, I am back! Miss me? ;)
My vacation was a wonderful way to spend some quality time with my family, friends and beloved boyfriend. :D Pure bliss. It has really shown me how much I have grown through my experiences in the last year of travelling and working. After being blessed with the chance to travel to 9 countries in the last 6 months and meet all the people in between, my goal of filling my passport is still not accomplished. Hmm ... must do more travelling.
In the AIESEC front, glad to be in the flat again with MACE. :) Missed you all. I was telling everyone about shopska salate and ajvar. Hehe.
Well back to the fun that is AIESEC!
