Reach for the sky! EuroCo 2006!

Wow! What a conference! Around 170 LCPs mainly from Europe spent unforgetable time in our beautiful country on Ohrid lake in Hotel Biser!

I attended the whole conference and this is how it was.. The whole journey started in Skopje with the Global Village in Ramstore. You know how Global Village looks like! More then 40 countries representing their culture, wearing different clothes, dancing @ dances and having a lots of fun! Total blast! After the GV, sightseeing of the capital city followed accompanied by our LC Skopje members! Thank you LC Skopje! The end part of the day where we officially opened EuroCo took place in the National Theathre. Folk dances, speech from Skopje mayor, modern drum performances were some of the highlights of the opening. After sitting in chairs for more then one hour, enjoying the show, the participants (@ and externals) could refresh themselves with the cocktail supported from Skopje Brewery, Krasnaja (Cocktails) and Tikves vine. After this exciting day, we departured to Hotel Biser.

We arrived in the middle of the night and only glimps of the beautufil lake could be seen. Everyone was very anxious for the beauty of the day to arise and start with the morning plenary..

And then, the morning... The sun was in its full power and the morning plenary started.. Crazy shouts, creative dances, Swiss people naked and Danish people signing about Macedonia and EuroCo. Denmark, thank you for the song! Our beloved LCP had a great rollcall, reflecting the "Struga Poetry night" - K15 version! :)

I was very excited being there and spend time with my LCPs, seeing them having fun, challenge them on our delegation meeting, laughing together about funny stories during the day, have discussions on the lunches and dinners (breakfast was hard to talk:) and it was just awesome!

The whole agenda was well structured, my LCPs were learning a lot, the facilitators were simply amazing! The fun team was the funniest! So many MCPs in the faci team, all of them my friends, I was filling very proud that all this is happening in our country!
The best and crazy OC, lead by Darko was always smiling, having fun, fully participating on the parties!

The days were passing, the positive energy was in the air, the beauty of the lake was in its full power, the faci's were having great sessions every day, the hotel stuff was the most pleasent stuff ever, the OC was crazy as always and all this lead for unforgetable experience for everyone involved!

At the end, on behalf of @ Mace I would like to thank everyone that had anykind of contribution to this great success and again confirmed our globally known brand - "The land of success", followed by "The land of eternal sunshine"!

life of MC apartment's inhabitants.

Dear readers,

Welcome to the interesting side of our lives... living in the MC flat!!

Currently, there are three inhabitants in the MC Flat, all the international members of the national team: Ravin from India, Maja from Poland and Titel from Romania.
Honestly, words can not express what it is like to live here.

For starters...

Maja has learnt to keep herself from being a cleaning freak. Also, she has learnt to pronounce '3' as th-ree and not f-ree and 'with' as wi-th and not wi-f.

Titel has had the opportunity to challenge his world-view(read culinary) and to discover & develop his immense cooking potential. Right now, he is working on nurturing and retaining his top talent. In simplar words, the boy has finally started cooking and over the last two weeks we have been relishing some romanion delicacies.

Ravin has gradually learnt cooking over the last 6 months or so. Today, the MC team can handle(almost) as much spice as him. He is especially enjoying improvizing, in simplar words, using his masala mixes to spice up the food and make it yummy ... slurp! :P

Apart from this, we, the inhabitants have invented a really cool drinking game... 'Puke' (I know that the name ain't that cool)

Latest NEWS: While I have been busy writing this post, titel was up with the customary Saturday cleaning. To keep the long story short, If you happen to visit our apartment and it smells like 'shit' don't worry it is wood-polish (A very old one from the pre-stone age times)

@Mace in October
